About Santa Fe Imaging
Organization
Santa Fe Imaging performs diagnostic imaging studies read by the physicians of Santa Fe Radiology, PC for medical practitioners and patients of New Mexico. Through the leadership of SFI’s Board of Directors, Santa Fe Radiology physicians direct the mission and quality of all services provided by our facility.
Daily operations are managed by the Director of Imaging Services and his professional staffs. A strong focus on customer service for patients, physicians and medical office staff who use our services is at the heart of everything we do. We attempt to accommodate patient requests for appointment dates and times – including same-day visits when possible; we do everything in our power to perform and report “STAT” studies when needed; and we frequently adjust our exam hours as schedules fill up so that wait times for needed medical studies remain reasonably short.
Affiliations
In addition to its main facility, two Santa Fe Imaging satellite facilities perform X-ray services onsite at nearby urgent care practices:
- Santa Fe Imaging at Rodeo Road is located in the facility of Santa Fe Family Health
- Santa Fe Imaging Española is in Valley First Care’s building
The physicians of Santa Fe Radiology, PC also provide professional services to Open MRI of Santa Fe, Christus Saint Vincent Regional Medical Center, Los Alamos Medical Center, Santa Fe Indian Hospital and numerous other medical facilities in northern New Mexico.

Certification
SFI’s Radiologists are all American Board of Radiology Certified, with a range of Subspecialty Certifications and Fellowship training from medical centers across the country.
Our Technologists are certified in each of the areas for which they conduct studies, including ARDMS Certified and Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in Abdomen, Breast, and Obstetrics & Gynecology and ACR Certified Diagnostic Medical Technologists in CT, MRI, Digital Mammography, and Ultrasound.
All staff members continually update their training through Continuing Medical Education coursework and seminars to ensure that their knowledge and skills are up-to-date with changing medical practices.
Accreditation
Santa Fe Imaging has voluntarily completed a rigorous review process to earn accreditation from the American College of Radiology. Personnel, equipment, performance, quality control, and the quality of diagnostic images must all test at high standards to earn this recognition. SFI has qualified in the following areas to join a select group of imaging centers across the country awarded the ACR evidence of excellence.
